Would it be …
Would it be feasible to machine the magnets to make mating cones, eliminating the need for any central spindle? Finely adjusted at both ends, they would spin freely with only magnetic drag for resistance. No lubrication, no wear. Might need a loose-fitting spindle for safety.

It seems to me that …
It seems to me that Dan Row Hoss has a lot of good ideas, but I don’t ever see him use any of them to actually do anything. Not on a permanent or semi-permanent basis anyway. Why doesn’t he hook this thing up to an alternator or generator and do something with it? The same thing with his solar concentrators. Heat some water, or make some steam for your house!
